Ocean Park Conservation Alliance

Ocean Park has always been committed to conservation and education as the cornerstone of its development, and has been dedicated to connecting people with nature. To promote community collaboration and public participation, starting from 2023, over 200 schools have become members of “Ocean Park Conservation Alliance” under “Mission R”, advocating conservation actions on campus based on the three visions. This year, “Seahorse Rangers (Kindergarten)” is funded by Environment and Conservation Fund. By joining the “Environment and Conservation Fund x Ocean Park Seahorse Rangers” project, Ocean Park will be providing a series of Kindergarten-exclusive teaching resources and activities.
Seahorse Rangers

In order to meet the needs of kindergartens, the Seahorse Rangers are now open to students from the same grade in the 2024/25 academic year. The programme will last for one year, and the themes will focus on waste reduction, carbon neutrality, and Hong Kong local biodiversity.

In addition to the three flagship activities, the event also includes exclusive in-park activities and resources, to promote conservation messages within schools and in the community:

Seahorse Rangers

Under “Ocean Park Conservation Alliance”, Seahorse Rangers are established to enrich students’ conservation perspectives through support and meaningful experiences in Ocean Park. Seahorse Rangers are formed by a group of passionate and creative students in local schools to come up with innovative and community engaging solution on conservation issues. As the largest stakeholders in school, students could advocate conservation and cultivate environmentally friendly behaviors from different levels.
